The restoration service we offer forms a large part of the services we offer at Kingswood. We are able to offer advice on the restoration of any gilded item from frames and mirrors through to console tables girandoles and other pieces of furniture.

Casts are made from the original and we then reproduce the missing decoration, carving it into shape so as not to make the repair too noticable. It is then coloured or gilded, toned and distressed to match the original finish as best posssible.

In addition to the restoration service we have a collection of antique frames, some in need of repair, which are sold to house original antique paintings who may have lost their original frame.
